“In April 2018, Grupo Bimbo, S.A.B. de C.V. (GB), through Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU) and Barcel USA, entered into a Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (VPPA) with Invenergy, LLC for a 100 MW Wind Farm at Santa Rita East, Texas. This wind farm will produce renewable electricity to offset all of GBs United States manufacturing, sales, retail, and office electrical consumption. The Santa Rita East Wind Farm started generating renewable energy in June 2019.”
